T2.F01: Cretaceous Terrestrial/Non-marine Studies

Published scientific investigations of Cretaceous terrestrial (non-marine) paleoenvironments are a topical area that has undergone rapid expansion in the last decade. We seek to bring together an international group of active researchers to discuss current topics in Cretaceous terrestrial stratigraphy, depositional systems, biostratigraphy, paleoecology, geochronology, carbon isotope chemostratigraphy and paleoclimatology. Original insights derived from studies of Cretaceous terrestrial systems are important components of the evolving conceptions of Cretaceous Earth Systems, and we will aim to share these vitally important viewpoints with the wider Cretaceous research community. Key issues within this context also comprise non-marine cyclostratigraphy, magnetostratigraphy, and non-marine to marine correlation.
